Police install checkpoints at Colca Canyon Peru to monitor for intoxicated drivers and reduce accidents

Peru21.pe reported that Valley Charter Authority installed four checkpoints along the area to strengthen surveillance and prevent accidents. The Colca Autonomous Authority ( Autocolca ) will install four checkpoints along the path of the tourist attraction in order to prevent the entry of visitors drunk and accidents. These posts will be located in the towns of Pinchollo, Tapay, Cruz del Condor and Chivay, and will have breathalyzers. In addition, a total of 17 security agents will be used for this mission.
