Elderly Expat Couple from Canada found Murdered in Mexico

humbernews.ca reported reaction continued Thursday to news that Mexican authorities have arrested a man in connection to the recent murder of a Canadian couple. The arrest was made Wednesday.

The bodies of Edward Kular, 84 and Nina Discombe, 72, were discovered on Sunday by their gardener in their lakeside home in the town of Ajijic in the southwest part of the country. The Ottawa couple are the latest Canadians to lose their lives in Mexico. Read Article

Syrian worker killed after ceiling collapses in Lebanon construction site

Russia: Two migrants from former Soviet republics stabbed by mob in St. Petersburg

Two Bangladeshi men found murdered in a shop in South Africa

South Africa: Four foreign workers killed in work accident in Ladysmith

According to news24.com, four of the six men who died in an accident at an Eskom site near Ladysmith were foreigners, Eskom said on Friday. “Of the six fatalities, four are foreign nationals and two are South Africans,” Eskom general manager Gerrie Bronkhorst said.
