Arizona, Deputies ticket drivers on dangerous road to the Grand Canyon

Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office wrote more than 60 tickets during a one-day traffic enforcement on Pierce Ferry and Diamond Bar roads in the Dolan Springs area last week.
The Sheriff’s Office often targets the two roads for extra enforcement because of the traffic coming to and from the Grand Canyon West tourist attraction, as well as a number of fatal accidents that have occurred on the road in the last several years. Last week a 67-year-old man was killed in a high-speed accident that was preceded by a first accident he reportedly caused involving a car full of German tourists. Read Article
