German tourist killed and another seriously injured on Australian outback highway after they drove on the wrong side of the road and crashed head on into a 4WD

A German tourist has died and another is in hospital with serious injuries
The pair were travelling along the Arnhem Highway in Northern Territory
Police alleged the tourists’ car was driven on the wrong side of the road
The vehicle collided with an oncoming four-wheel-drive on Thursday night
The male passenger died at the scene and the driver remains in hospital
