Vietnam: Thai visitors held and their motorbikes siezed after traveling without proper documents

According to thanhniennews.com, Ho Chi Minh City police confiscated 10 motorcycles with Thai license plates after their Thai riders who entered Vietnam as tourists were caught violating traffic laws on Wednesday. According to traffic police, the foreign riders entered a car lane on the Hanoi Highway, District 9. They failed to present driving licenses endorsed by Vietnamese authorities and could also not produce the vehicles’ documents, police said, adding that the riders only presented their Thai-issued driving licenses.
