Puerto Rico: Canadian man drowns after being swept to sea by strong current

The Toronto Sun reports that a Canadian man has drowned in Puerto Rico, according to local reports. The 58-year-old tourist, identified on the website Diario de Puerto Rico (Journal of Puerto Rico) as Andres Prouelx, died after he was swept away by currents off the beach behind the St. Regis Bahia Beach resort in Rio Grande, on the northeast corner of the island.
