Marco Polo ‘safe to be back at sea’ after death onboard
The owners of the cruise ship Marco Polo have defended its seaworthiness following the death of one of its passengers in a freak accident. Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) said the ship was back at sea yesterday, having passed safety tests, two days after James Swinstead, 85, died after being hit by broken glass when an enormous wave smashed through a restaurant window. One seriously injured passenger, a woman in her 70s, is recovering after being airlifted to hospital.Read Article
