Philippines: Officials urge public awareness to avoid Typhoid outbreaks

As reported by pia.gov, “The Department of Health in Eastern Visayas has cautioned the public to avoid being complacent against typhoid fever despite the apparent decline of typhoid cases in the region. Citing records of comparison on the disease, the health department reported only 88 typhoid cases for the last two months this year against last year’s 317 monitored cases of the same ailment for the same period.” Read Article
