Hotel in Spain closed due to Legionella in July, 2012

Calp Ends Hotel in Alicante, Spain for the outbreak pneumonitis Legionella bacteria. Last February three British tourists between 73 and 78 years died and today 3 and 5 Spanish Belgian undergoing treatment. The ‘Health Department’ of Valencia announced yesterday that were detected 8 cases of Legionella pneumonia “with spatiotemporal relationship between them,” with a common bond and that occurred the third week of June while in the Hotel Calp . In its statement, the Valencia emphasizes that this is the same hotel where there was an outbreak of Lejionella past February. Read Article
