Brazil, government handing out condoms to stem tide of AIDS transmission during carnival

According to revistagobierno.com in preparation of Carnival it hopes and prevent the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and unwanted pregnancies, the Minister of Health, Alexandre Padrilha and working group are distributing free condoms 84 million male during the festival as a basis for national prevention campaign against AIDS, aimed at women aged 15 to 24 years because this population group is most vulnerable to infection.
