Brazil, Tram (Trolley) accident in Rio Janeiro leaves four dead, 30 injured

The Fire Department confirmed that at least four people died following the accident involving a tram in Santa Teresa, in the center of Rio de Janeiro, in the afternoon (27). The corporation reported that approximately 30 people were injured. The victims are being taken to the Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar, also at the center. The tram derailed, hit a lamppost and fell at Rua Joaquim Murtinho, near the Largo do Curvelo. Read Article
