Air Traffic Controllers Tripoli International Airport staged strike demanding higher salaries

Air-traffic controllers staged a strike at Tripoli International Airport on Thursday. Some 50 percent of flights were said to have been hit. Frustrated air passengers were forced to wait out the strike at the airport. Strikers are demanding higher salaries and better service contracts. They have also called for repairs to radar equipment.
