Visitors should reconsider going to Lebanon due to violence

Four Gulf States have told their citizens they should not go to Lebanon under any circumstances, and warned those already there to get out as a tense political situation spills over into violence. Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain have all issued Do Not Travel warnings, and Syria has also warned its citizens about the situation – which has caused some to scoff because it’s the out of control situation in Syria which is being blamed for Lebanon’s troubles. The pro-Syrian government is at loggerheads with large anti-Syrian factions inside Lebanon. Read article
