Unpredictable wildfires force evacuation of Idaho resort communities

As reported by Toledoblade.com, about 600 homes have been evacuated in central Idaho ahead of a large, unpredictable wildfire burning toward the resort communities of Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley. Fire officials said today high, gusty winds, low humidity and tinder-dry vegetation created unstable conditions surrounding the 85-square-mile Beaver Creek Fire. One home was destroyed Thursday night, according to a spokeswoman for Blaine County, where the fire is burning. Read article
