United Arab Emirates: Australian man sentenced after corruption conviction

Yahoo 7 News reports that an Australian man held in Dubai on corruption charges for four years has been sentenced to 10 years in jail and fined $25 million. Matthew Joyce was charged with fraud over a property deal gone sour in Dubai. His former business partner, Marcus Lee, was acquitted and will be allowed to return home pending any further appeals.
