Turkish Airlines flight diverted en route to Brazil, bomb threat

A Turkish Airlines flight en route to Brazil was forced to change course and land in Casablanca on Monday after a note with the word “bomb” was found in the toilet, the airline said.

Officials searched the plane once it landed and found no explosives, spokesman Ali Genç said in a statement to NBC News. Passengers were expected to re-board the aircraft and continue on their journey to Sao Paulo the same day, Genç said. Read Article
