Turkey: Attack on Japanese tourists leaves one dead and another seriously injured

Hurriyet Daily News reports that two female Japanese tourists were attacked with knives on Sept. 9 by an unknown person in the Göreme district of the Central Anatolian province of Nevşehir, leaving one of them dead and the other heavily wounded. Mai Kurkiharac and Hoshie Teramatsu were attacked while walking in the Zemi Valley during a trip to the region. Read article
