Travel Warning U.S.: Budget cuts in sequester March 1, 2013 may cause severe air travel nightmares

chicagotribune.com reported that the Obama administration issued a travel advisory Friday: Due to a budget standoff in Washington, flights will be delayed. That was the message from U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, who described potential air travel nightmares that could occur if, as scheduled, $600 million is eliminated from the Federal Aviation Administration’s budget this year as part of the so-called sequester cuts set to kick in March 1.
