Tanzania: Tourist plane crashes at landing, all passengers survive

Shanghaidaily.com reports that two tourists from South Korea survived a light plane crash at an airstrip in Tanzania’s northern region of Arusha, police said on Saturday. Arusha Regional Commander Liberatus Sabas said the small plane crashed when its Ethiopian pilot Nesru was trying to land at the airstrip in the village of Mbulumbulu. He said the plane chartered by the tourists from Kigoma region was destined for Manyara region. The small plane developed technical faults on its front wheel, however, none of the individuals on board was injured in the accident. Read article
