Saudi Arabi: Indian expatriate dies while detained, didn’t have valid visa

As covered by arabnews.com, “Police are trying to identify an unregistered expatriate who was arrested by Riyadh police for not having a valid iqama and who has since died.
The man is believed to be from India and was detained by the police during a routine inspection in Riyadh’s Al-Batha district. According to Shihab Kottukad, an Indian social worker, Iqbal Sheramram fell ill during detention and was shifted to Al-Shumaisy Hospital on Friday. He died the next day.” Read Article
