Peru: four tourists from Denmark rescued after thrown from raft in river tour

Arequipa. An intrepid tour Chili river rafting almost cost the lives of four Danish tourists and a guide Cusipata boating agency. All were saved yesterday by police from the Rescue Unit, at the height of the bridge Bolognesi.

Nina Jorgensen (20), Hensen Nicolini (20), Sofie Jacobsen (23) and Rasmus Luno (24) hired the service of the adventure travel agency. At 09.00 pm yesterday left the area known as Circle, Chilina Valley, next to safety guide José Zevallos Juarez (24). The tour should end at the bridge under Grau, but by the amount of water were dragged several meters.

Fortunately, they managed to anchor about two meters from a small waterfall, where they were thrown from their raft. Note: the river had been closed to rafting in previous week due to heavy currents. Read Article
