Nepal: Overcrowded tourist bus crashes into gorge, kills 29, leaving a dozen injured

travelandtourworld.com reported an overloaded bus in Nepal travelling from Jogbuda to Dhangadi in the Doti district about 800km west of Kathmandu met with an accident. It fell off a road into a gorge killing 29 people and leaving a dozen others injured. The people in the bus were tourists who were travelling to meet their families to celebrate their festival. There were more than 100 people in the bus according to police sources. Heavy rain in the area hampered rescue operations. Read Article
