Nepal: One Malaysian climber dead and another ill, awaiting rescue from Everest

According to a report from thestar.com.my, the unfavourable weather condition is delaying the rescue mission for two Malaysian Everest climbers, one of whom is critically ill and the other confirmed dead. “The evacuation process is on the way but the weather condition is not favourable to move the young trekker’s body and another person who is critically ill,” a Malaysian official in Kathmandu, Nepal said. The climber who died is Mohamad Shahrulnizam Ahmad Nazari, 25, an employee of Putrajaya Corporation. Read article
