Gracetown Australia: Surfer killed in shark attack

couriermail.com.au reported that a 35-year-old surfer who was killed by a shark in the state’s South-West yesterday morning was an “absolute champion” who moved to WA because of “his love of the waves and surf”. Chris Boyd, originally from Queensland, was killed instantly when he was mauled by a shark while surfing at popular break “Umbies” off Gracetown, 270km south of Perth. The shark was believed to be a great white. Yesterday the surf club from his home town of Coolum paid tribute to him on its Facebook page. Read Article
