Czech: Tourism increased by 4.1% despite economic issues confirms tourist industry

PRAGUE–A weaker koruna helped the Czech tourist industry to expanded in the third quarter as the number of foreign visitors staying in the country rose sharply, data released by the Czech Statistics Office, or CSU, showed Wednesday. The number of foreign guests staying overnight in local hotels and accommodation facilities was up 13% annually in the period, while the number of domestic guests staying in local accommodations was up 4.1% on year.
