Cyprus Banks Closed until Thursday

guardian.co.uk reported that around 12,000 UK pensioners in Cyprus have had their pension payments into a local bank temporarily paused while the British government assesses the situation (as I reported at 3.42pm)
The UK Department of Work and Pensions has said tonight that British pensioners in Cyprus should not panic over the move: Associated Press’s Menelaos Hadjicostis reports:
