Costa Rica: U.S. woman expat found murdered

July 23, 2014 nacion.com reported the security forces of Coto Brus confirmed this Wednesday evening the killing of an American woman, of 37 years, by a man of 20, who lived in the same House. The crime took place in Los Angeles of Limoncito, Coto Brus.

At 2:40 p. m. received the alert through 911 on an assault with a stone perpetrated against a woman and when police arrived at the scene, along with the Red Cross of San Vito ambulance 1,040, found the woman without vital signs and with head injuries.

According to the first data in the possession of the police, the victim is an American with 14 years of living in our country, who was part of the Group of Mennonites of the canton border with Panama. The American was identified as Esther Peart Kropt. Body was next to a Creek and at the same time was the stone that killed. The suspect who shared the house with the victim has been detained.
