Burundi: Rebel group from Democratic Republic of Congo attacks bus

According to a news24.com report, two people were killed when a bus carrying 30 passengers was ambushed by armed men believed to be ex-rebels near Burundi’s capital Bujumbura, officials said on Sunday. The bus was attacked on Saturday near Gatumba on the outskirts of Bujumbura and close to the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, a local government official, Jean-Marie Mutabazi, told AFP.
