British flight diverted to Denmark to eject drunken Russian football fans

Manchestereveningnews.com reports that a flight carrying Russian football fans to Manchester for Tuesday’s clash had to divert to Denmark to eject drunken passengers. The Easyjet Sunday service from Moscow, was forced to land at Copenhagen Airport in Denmark at 3.15pm amid reports one CSKA Moscow supporter had taken too much drink and had started pushing staff on board. It was met by Danish police who are reported to have taken the pickled passenger away. But just before take-off the plane was delayed again – when pals of the ejected supporter complained about his treatment and were also kicked off the flight. Read article
