Authorities in the Philippines find and detonate bomb near tourist wharf

Newsinfo.inquirer.net reports that an improvised explosive device was found Monday morning near the wharf of Sabang, a coastal village where tourists take off on boats to visit the world-renowned Underground River in this city. Police and park authorities temporarily closed off the tourist attraction after the bomb disposal unit decided to explode the device. Read article
