Antigua: Officials investigate the ‘sudden’ death of Canadian tourist on vacation

According to antiguachronicle.net, “Another tourist has died “suddenly” in Antigua; this time from Canada. Antigua Chronicle understands that lawmen are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of 67-year-old John Dewry. He was on vacation in Antigua with his 59-year-old wife at Jolly Beach Resort and Spa, according to reports. The victim is said to have something of a history of illness and had first raised concerns about his status to a doctor last Saturday. After his condition continued to worsen, EMS personnel reportedly rushed Dewry to the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC). He died there on Tuesday night.” Read Article
