U.K. Health Alert: Measles outbreak in Wales reaches 1,170 cases

According to walesonline.co.uk, “Measles cases have now risen to 1,170 after another 28 cases have been reported in Wales since Tuesday. The rate appears to be slowing down but health bosses are continuing to encourage children and young people aged between 10 and 18 to get vaccinated as the outbreak continues. It has mainly focused on the Swansea area with 1,039 of the cases being the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg, Hywel Dda and Powys health board areas and 85 people have been hospitalised since the outbreak started in November.” Read Article
