Traveler survives fall from tourist viewpoint in South Africa

Timeslive.co.za reports that a tourist who survived a 90m fall from a viewpoint at God’s Window near Graskop has been moved from the ICU to a general ward in the Nelspruit Medi Clinic in Mpumalanga. Sipho Lubisi, 30, climbed over a railing at the famous tourist attraction on Saturday morning, lost his balance and fell off a ledge, a Sapa correspondent reported. “Incredibly the patient sustained no fractures. He is stable and was moved to a general ward on Monday afternoon,” said Nelspruit Medi Clinic spokeswoman Robyn Baard. Read article
