Libya: Authorities searching for Canadian, Italians abducted near border with Algeria

Libyan authorities ​search for Canadian and two Italians abducted at border reported the three were abducted at gunpoint on the highway between Ghat and Ubari, while three North Koreans kidnapped by Isis have been freed by Libyan forces Libyan authorities are searching for two Italians and a Canadian abducted at gunpoint near the Algerian border, while another official said three North Koreans kidnapped more than a year ago have been freed from Islamic State militants.

The Italians and the Canadian were abducted at gunpoint Monday on the highway between Ghat and Ubari, in the south-west desert, according to the Ghat municipal council. Read Article
