Miami, Florida: Five positive for Zika including three tourists

telegraph.co.uk reported mosquito inspection teams were fanning out across Miami Beach, after five people – including three tourists – were diagnosed with the first locally-transmitted cases of Zika in the popular tourist resort.

“We believe we have a new area where local transmission is occurring in Miami Beach,” said Rick Scott, governor of Florida, in a press conference on Friday. “Active transmission is happening between 8th and 28th streets, an area just under 1.5 square miles.” Read Article
