India: American woman assaulted and robbed on a train in Mumbai

The Times of India reports that an American woman was on Sunday assaulted inside a local train by an unidentified person, who escaped with her mobile phone, police said. The incident took place late this evening when the train was approaching Mumbai Central railway station, DCP (Western Railway) B Shirsat said. The accused attacked the woman, identified as Michelle Mark. He snatched her iPhone and fled from the spot. Read article
