HIV, AIDS cases rise ten percent in La Paz Bolivia

Posted on September 5, 2014 • Filed under: Latin America, Travel Health reported 299 cases of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and the syndrome of acquired immunodeficiency (AIDS) in La Paz were reported from January to the date: 10% more than in 2013, reported the departmental health service (Headquarters).
“In this administration, so far have had 299 cases, compared to last year, when we had 230 during the same period. That tells us that they are increasing by 10% and each management increase”, said yesterday the epidemiology director of the headquarters, René Barrientos. Read Article
