Two foreigners among the injured as boat capsizes off southern Vietnam

According to, one person was killed and eight others missing after a boat carrying 30 people — reportedly including two foreigners — capsized off southern Vietnam, an official said Saturday. The accident happened late Friday about two nautical miles offshore from the country’s southern business hub Ho Chi Minh City, a rescue official told AFP. “One body was recovered. We are searching for eight others but hope for their survival is slim,” he said, declining to provide further details. Read article
