Travellers should reconsider visiting Lebanon due to tense political situation

UPDATE: There was more trouble on Tuesday May 22nd following the alleged kidnapping of 11 Lebanese Shiites near the Syrian border. The incident sparked more violence with areas of southern Beirut and the Bekaa Valley blockaded. The Bekaa Valey should be avoided and visitors should exercise extreme caution while moving around Beirut.)
