Travel Health Africa: Officials in Kenya attentive to possible new Dengue outbreak

As reported by cajnewsagency.com, “HEALTH authorities in Kenya are on high alert following a suspected outbreak of a dengue fever, a highly infectious tropical disease. Fourteen suspected cases were reported in Mombasa County on Tuesday, according to district health officer Shem Patta. Dr Patta, who is working with a team of researchers from Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) said today that14 new specimens from patients have been flown to Nairobi for tests to determine if they are ill with the fever.” Read Article
