Thailand: Sightseeing boat collides with bridge injuring six Dutch tourists

As reported by bangkokpost.com, six members of a group of Dutch tourists, four of them children, were slightly injured when a long-tailed boat carrying them on a sightseeing tour along the Chao Phraya River and canals hit a bridge pylon in Nonthaburi‘s Bang Kruai district on Tuesday. The four children, aged 13, 11, 10 and 2, were accompanied by a Dutch man and a woman when their boat, driven by Tawat Promchart, 60, rammed into the foundation pillar of a bridge crossing Bang Kruai canal near Wat Chalor pier shortly before noon.
