Thailand: Foreign gang members posing as tourists arrested for robbery & fraud

As reported by bangkokpost.com, “Two French nationals and a Tunisian have been arrested on charges of credit card fraud in Phuket, and a Vietnamese man for stealing from revellers during the Songkran celebration on Silom Road. Supaseth Chokchai, deputy commander of the Tourist Police Division, said in Phuket on Monday that police arrested Mhoussin Mahamoud, Ganzouhai Zaidim, both French nationals, and Adjemi Ramzi, a Tunisian citizen, in Phuket. They were members of a gang that came to the resort island during the Songkran holiday to use fake credit cards to cash money.” Read Article
