Thailand: Australian tourist died from a head injury falling in a stairwell at Pacific Light Hotel

An Australian tourist, 47, died from a head injury after falling in a stairwell at the Pacific Light Hotel in the Patong section of the island earlier today (March 6). The tourist and his wife were returning to their hotel at about 0500 hours and were ascending the internal stairwell to their fourth-floor guest room when the man’s wife heard a a large sound behind her. When she descended the stairwell to see what happened, she discovered that her husband had apparently slipped and fell and presumably died instantly from a head injury. Read article
