Taiwan: Missing Chinese tourist found, returned to group after attempting to flee

As reported by focustaiwan.tw, “Taipei, April 30 (CNA) A Chinese tourist was stopped at Taipei International Airport, also known as Songshan Airport, and sent back to Kinmen Tuesday after he fled the tour group he was traveling with in the outlying county, police said. Aviation police officers said the individual was a 78-year-old man surnamed Ji from eastern China’s Shandong Province. He had arrived at Kinmen’s Shueitou Wharf at 9:30 a.m. with a tour group for a one-day sightseeing visit to the island county.” Read Article
