Paraguay: Dengue fever outbreak surging, over 70,000 infected in 2013

As covered by infosurhoy.com, “Paraguay is dealing with the worst dengue outbreak in its history, as the disease has killed 48 and infected 70,000 patients this year, Health Minister Antonio Arbo said. Entering the week, there were an additional 114,823 cases to be confirmed.The number of people affected by dengue in 2013 is four times greater than in 2012, officials said.” Read Article
