New Zealand: Czech tourist possible victim of sexual assault before being murdered

A Czech tourist appears to have been sexually assaulted before she was killed on a forestry block near Waimate, police say. Dagmar Pytlickova, 31, who was known as Dasha, was found dead in the remote South Canterbury forest next to the body of Jason Frandi, from Waimate, on Sunday. Police believe she had been hitch-hiking from Cromwell to Timaru and is likely to have encountered Mr Frandi, 43, somewhere between Omarama and Kurow. Read Article
