New York City, tourist killed by cab after crossing street against red light

A man visiting from Baltimore fell trying to cross the street in lower Manhattan and was fatally hit by a cab early Sunday, police and a witness said. Dan Fellegara, 33, was struck after he tumbled to the pavement while crossing against a red light on Sixth Ave. at Watts St. with two friends about 4:30 a.m., cops and the cab driver said. “They crossed on the red light,” said the cabbie, who declined to use his name.“They were running across, but one of the guys fell.” Read Article
