Kuwaiti tourist drugged and robbed in Thailand

According to a pattayaone.com report, Pattaya’s Tourist Police have arrested the prime suspect wanted in connection with the recent drugging and robbery of a Kuwaiti Tourist at a Hotel on Walking Street in South Pattaya. Police Colonel Batipat, Deputy Commander of the Tourist Police, led a press conference on Tuesday Night to announce the arrest of Khun Sumit aged 20. He was arrested at a Hospital in Hat Yai District in Songkla Province in the South of Thailand where he was recuperating after gender-reassignment surgery. He later confessed to using money stolen from the victim to fund the surgery. Read article
