Kazakh businessman arrested in France on embezzlement charges

France24.com reported that, Mukhtar Ablyazov, a Kazakh businessman and former minister accused of embezzling $6 billion from a Kazakh bank, was arrested near Nice on Wednesday. Ablyazov fled exile in the UK last year after being sentenced to prison for contempt of court.
