Italy: Mail and shipping services delayed

In Italy, mail delivery services are being delayed because of an air transport strike that began on Friday, June 22. International flights arriving and departing from Milan will experience significant delays. Furthermore, flights going to Italy that are carrying letters and other shipments will have mail processing and delivery impacted. According to Travel Weekly, along with the Italian airport workers’ strike affecting flights, other airport services have been affected, such as baggage handling and catering. The airline EasyJet had to cancel 14 flights to and from an airport at Milan and spoke of potential issues that may take place in Venice. Read article
